Archon, a University of Delhi based student organisation and Green Care Society jointly organised a seminar on climate change at Gyan Bharti Institute of Technology, Partapur. Issues ranging from pollution to climate change were discussed in the seminar. Speakers expressed concerns over the ever-worsening state of environment because of deforestation and pollution. They also expressed concerns on the lack of political will to address the issue. They warned that if we don’t act in time, then we shall face grave consequences in future. The discussion was followed by a plantation drive where the members took a vow of environmental conservation. The event was attended by Sumnesh Suman, Dr Vijay Pandit, Poonam Pandit, Akhilesh Singh, Mohan Lal Verma, Rajeev Sharma, etc.
